Yep, at 2:oo this afternoon, Davey Rootbeer finally beat ff9...BARELY.

I ran out of potions halfway through fighting Trance Kuja (so autopotion became moot), and was lucky that Zidane was tranced (and using Grand Lethal) and Steiner was tranced as well (attacking w/defender).....i didnt get a chance to heal before the FINAL battle, because of having no healers in my party...and i faced Necron with a level 55 Amarant, level 62 Zidane, Level 56 Vivi, and Level 58 Steiner. I Had Vivi cast Blizaga and Steiner use Fire Sword every turn, Zidane attacked physically, and Amarant throw one of Zidanes old Synth swords, a Wing Edge, ot one of Quina's forks, or whatever i had lying around collecting dust..

The end of the last battle was hell...i BARELY beat the game. Vivi died, Amarant died, and Zidane died...steiner was the only one left, with about 3,000 HP. then Necron cast some magic that dropped Steiner back to one. JUST MY LUCK, Steiner happened to Trance at that PRECISE moment, and did a 6700 damage physical attack that defeated Necron.....And it was over....

Quale and Hades were easy....Ozma will give you a problem if you had this much trouble with Necron.

quale and hades were piss as were the last/all bosses. Ozma was a bit harder tried at around level 50 average got whupped tried again at level 85-90 he got whupped shame the end bosses are so piss, tends to happen when you do all the sub quests the only exception was ff8 but even that wasn't that hard...

Yah so, welcome back Zorko. You guys know when I first started looking for a FF board I ran across this guy who was on LV99 with all his characters and STILL couldn't dead Ozma? That's called just not trying. Davey, they're right. If you guard against all status effects, you can kill Quale in no time. The hard part is catching 99 frogs. Hades isn't bad, but he does know "Curse", and a pretty nasty sword attack. Ozma on the other hand, will DESTROY anyone not at Messiah <^> -_- <^> status at low levels. I don't mean to brag, but if you need a hand with that, feel more than free to look at my Ozma strategy. It owns. Simple truth. Again, the hard part is actually FINDING him. Digging for chocographs sucks, but the rewards are excellent. The final bosses ARE piss in FF9. Kind of a disappointment. If you hit Memoria with every status guard on, you can own all the Earth Guardians, and Necron.
