There were several notices of Poe's death in the Press, but I suppose you are alluding to the Griswold's unfair one, published in the NY "Tribune" for October 9, 1849, and signed "Ludwig". I think you will not find it on the web, beyond some short extracts. To my knowledge, the complete text is available only in "Edgar Allan Poe -- The Critical Heritage", I. M. Walker, ed., Routledge & Kegan Paul (1986), and, perhaps not entirely (I am unable to check it here, in the public cyber-room), in "The Recognition of E. A. Poe" -- E. C. Carlson, ed., University of Michigan Press (1966), both probably reprinted, as I hope for you. Yours sincerely, Raven's Shade (Belgium).
