#THE ONE NO ONE SEEMS TO KNOW# Slow motion in Progressive scan/frame movie mode

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Shooting DV Films : One Thread

Hello, My name is Lliam and I live in Australia,

I have a question that no one seems to know!

I will soon commence shooting a short on AJD 200 and I would greatly apprecciate if someone could tell me whether progressive Scan (frame movie mode) has any drawbacks when being turned into slow motion. If so so what you would advise?

I would also be greatful for any tips Re quirks, problems or nifty tricks when shooting on the AJD200.

Thankyou very much for your time. Lliam

I donno.. I have a GL2 and when i run FMM and i try to slow the frames down it turns out to be very choppy.. So i juss use normal movie mode at 15,000fps or 8,000 fps it seems to be the best for slo mo scenes.
