Update on 3 Year Old Alex Ball

greenspun.com : LUSENET : The Christian Church : One Thread

Well folks.....turns out the tumor was malignant. In fact, the tumor had grown just since yesterday. In fact, they found a spot on the kidney as well.

So, instead of chemo beginning sometime in the future....it begins....tomorrow.

The one bright spot is the Dr. said that this type of cancer responds well to the chemo...and he placed his survival chances at 80%.

Please pray....with all your hearts....and the hearts of your congregation. Rarely have I ever shared a request like this. Yet....rarely....in my 21 years of ministry....have I seen Satan so vicious in his attack on a new couple in Christ.

And yet.....I know from Scripture....that God allowed it....because He knew this couple could handle it. Pray....that their faith will stay strong.

Thanks for allowing me to "vent" a little about it. This has been on of those days....I wish I had chosen another profession.

What I mean is, How is he handling the chemo?

Scott...

Thanks for asking.

I have been out of town for a few days...but am planning a visit to Louisville on Friday.

What I have heard has been extremely positive.

But....you know me....I'm looking forward to seeing firsthand.

I'll post as soon as I get back.
