Well since I realize my social skills on a forum have alot to be worked on, I found it better to not post anymore. I still have those hogs, I need to get rid of ,to anyone who wants them , they're free. And they are real( healthy ) and one is so friendly , if you rub under his neck , he lays on his back to have his belly rubbed.I think Earthmama has my e-address. If someone wants the hogs and has a way to pick them up, maybe she'd be kind enough to relay the message.

The world needs your considerable wisdom, whether they like it or not. :) Please don't decide to keep it to yourself, or doubt its veracity just because some feel threatened by it. In fact, since your discussions are almost always respectful, the fact that you sometimes push some folks' buttons is a sure sign, IMO, that you are making people think.

Oh no!!!! No-no-no-no-no!!! You just mustn't! Steve, you really are a gem, please consider this;....many of us very much enjoy your kind nature and helpful input!!! Perhaps a few days off may aid in putting things in perpective...? You know, it's easy to let...well, to let (the turkeys get ya down) others' "disapproval" or "whatever" affect you. But, you only have control over how _you_ act and react. I've never known you to be negative, angry, critical, not in any way. You seem very open and accepting of others. You certainly have a right to voice your opinions, and sometimes folks are threatened or judgemental, etc., and they react badly, that is truely a shame. Often it is incredibly hypocritcal of beliefs they profess to stand so solidly behind! But, again, that isn't in your power to change, or control. Now, I may not agree with you on many subjects, but I can talk to you.....like a friend. Agree to disagree if necessary, no biggie. I have no expectations of others "being" a certain way, so this statement, "Well since I realize my social skills on a forum have alot to be worked on, I found it better to not post anymore.", upsetting. Put it this way, if I "disagreed" with folks on the FF (which incidentally, I HAVE, many times!), and I got jumped on, would you think it best for me to leave? Sorta like throwing the baby out with the bathwater.....annnnnyway, please don't be rash. Of course, I'm just being selfish, because I like ya, you sure act like a good guy to me. Please stay Steve. I don't often read the other forums, so I don't know what happened, but don't let the other sites influence you to leave this one too. We're all pretty open minded here and I'm sure mature enough to have some deep discussions at times. Even if we'll disagree on some things. I like to read and learn more than just homesteading stuff, so just stick to this forum and post away. On the old CS forum, we use to have some pretty heavy topics (remember?), that were quite educational and thoughtful.....until some of the more obnoxious people drove everyone away, from both end of the spectrums. I miss those kind of posts. And I miss being able to express my views and not get slammed. I'm sure we could here. Stick around?

Steve, my battery won't charge unless I hook the jumper cables to both a negative and a positive post. Sometimes I BYPASS the negative post and hook to something else.

Steve, Please reconsider. If I took every insult or rude comment I had slung at me on the other forums I'm on to heart I would have sold my computer by now. :) Just chalk it off to ignorance of the masses. Stick with us here, you have so much interesting & useful information to share. I don't know what took place or who caused you to feel you needed to leave the forums but at least take a few days to think about your decision. If you do decide to leave please know that you will be missed but I'm hoping you'll at least check in here from time to time. Kathy
