Herb Fair in Knoxville,TN

I got this from one of my state homesteading boards. I wish it had come a little sooner, I may have gone. Sounds like there's going to be some interesting things going on.

STEVEN FOSTER TO SPEAK AT REGIONAL HERB SYMPOSIUM AND FAIR

The Smoky Mountain Herbal Society will hold its 14th annual Herb Fair on Saturday, August 24th in the Ellington Plant Science Building auditorium on UT's Ag Campus (Knoxville, TN). In honor of the 2002 Herb of the Year - Echinacea, the fair is entitled "The Healthy Herb".

This year's special guest is internationally known herbal health expert and photographer, Steven Foster, who will speak on native and medicinal plants. A book signing will follow the lecture and slide show. Other fair activities include a marketplace, workshops, a cooking demonstration by Janet Testerman of Testerman Cooperative Catering and the Garden Cottage's Vicki Baumgartner, a silent auction, UT Gardens tours, and more. Ticket sales begin at 9:00 a.m., Steven Foster lecture 9:30-10:30, Fair 10:30-3:00.

Tickets: General Fair Admission $10, special guest lecture $15, herbal lunch $7.50 (available from 11:30 - 1:00).

Thanks Kathy, I'm gonna see if I could some how get in without money, maybe they could use a volunteer in exchange for free admission. This is something I'd like to attened.
