Art Deco Blue Cobalt Display Mirrorgreenspun.com : LUSENET : Art Deco Society of Washington : One Thread
I have recently acquired a very large (14 X 18), oval, art deco, blue cobalt mirror at a local auction. It was apparently a display mirror used in the 1930's for the Company called "No Mend" hosiery and has the company logo etched in to the silver backing. The mirror did indeed come out of a clothing store during that time period. My problem is that I have been unable to find any additional information about my "find" and what it possibly could be worth. Any more information would be appreciated. Can anyone help? Thank you.
