IDF arrests killer of 10-month-old Shalhevet Pass By Ha'aretz Correspondent , News Agencies and Ha'aretz Service In an operation in the Hebron area early Friday morning, the Israel Defense Force arrested Friday Sudki Zaro, the Palestinian sniper who is believed to behind the killing 18 months ago of a 10-month-old baby, Shalhevet Pass.

South of Jenin, troops arrested five Palestinians, including four who appear on Israel's most-wanted list.

The IDF demolished late Thursday night the family homes of two Palestinian terrorists in the West Bank, Israel Radio reported.

Troops destroyed the home of Iyad Sawalha, an Islamic Jihad activist responsible for the Megiddo Junction car bomb attack in which 17 people were killed two months ago, in the village of Rais. Locals said 12 people lived in the two-storey house and that Sawalha's father is a U.S. citizen.

In the village on Anabta, near Tul Karm, soldiers demolished the home of Murad Mohammed Abu Assal, who wounded two security officials in a suicide attack in Taibeh eight months ago.

IDF troops killed two armed terrorists Thursday night near the Kissufim Crossing, adjacent to the security fence surrounding the Gaza Strip, Israel Radio reported. The two men were armed with an explosive device and grenades, and guns were later found near their bodies. Soldiers noticed the two men because of the large bag that they were carrying.

An IDF soldier was lightly wounded Thursday evening by rocks thrown at him in the West Bank town of Nablus. He was taken to hospital for medical treatment.
