Good day! I am writing my term paper in english and the title of my term paper is THE WORKS AND THE LIFE OF EDGAR ALLAN POE. Now, I just want to ask if why is it that POE couldn't write a poem when he is not drunk.

how do u know that he was drunk all the time? his structure he couldnt have been drunk b/c they have his original writings and it doesnt look like he was drunk. if he was drunk it would've been sloppy and it was neat.
