Problems with burning cue/bin filesgreenspun.com : LUSENET : Video CD : One Thread
I've got a problem burning bin/cue files under Linux using cdrdao. Everything works all right, after burning the vcd I can view it on my computer, but I can't view it on my stand alone dvd player. If I use win98 and nero to burn the same bin/cue file on the same machine with the same cd-writer it works on the stand alone dvd-player. Does anyone have an idea how to solve the problem?

It's probably your DVD player. Check www.vcdhelp.com and look up your player to see if it's compatible.
Some players will only play certain brands or colors of CDRs or will only play CD-RWs. The better ones will have twin lasers-- one for DVD and another for CD.
