i have a video cd and i would like to play it on my computer. So i don't know how to start it. i read on your website that i go to the media player. i have an XP media player and a cable modem so it is very good and i can play a video cd. but i don't under stand cause once i open the media player and put the video cd in nothign happens. i want to watch the video cd please help me what do i do to start it. because the website you told me to go to in the question is invalid.

Got 2 the MPEGAV directory on the VCD. The playable files are those named avseqxx.dat or musicxx.dat. You'll have to either double-click or File>open these files to play them; no auto.

just go to www.download.com and search for gdivx download it and run it click in the top lert corner and select oper vcd and the vcd will play.
