Okay, I was lost at Sephiroth's mansion, but now I'm lost at Mount Nibel. Where the hell am I supposed to go? While we're on the subject, who were all those guys dressed in black sackcloth? I...am...looking for ...Se..phiroth...? Why did everyone seem to think that was perfectly normal except for me? Also, why am I finding weapons I can't use? I keep finding these "long range weapons" that look like guns, but I can't equip them on Barret. Then I'll find weapons called "Twin Viper" or something that look like stars. Am I going to find somebody to use/throw these? Please give me Mount Nibel directions! Thanks!

vincent is in the basement area of the Shinra mansion. to get him you need to open the safe in the shinra mansion and fight the boss "lost number". He will give you a key to unlock the place where vincent is in the basement. The code to the safe is "Righ 36, Left 10,Right 59, Right 97. You'll have a time limit, but i can't remember how long it was. maybe 10 seconds? Then you will fight a boss called lost number, be sure to save your game before you attempt to open the safe, cause he's pretty hard i think. Just add aeris to yur party, set her limit brake to lvl 1, and have her use seal evil on it as much as she can. After you beat him and obtain the key, head for the basement. Ther should be a door to the left of cloud if he is running towards the library. Go into that door. And go up to the coffin to talk to him. tell him bout sephiroth, and he'll return to sleep. Wake him up again and get him to tell you his name. Then he'll go back to sleep again. Leave the room, and head to the library to meet sephiroth. He'll ask you if you are going to join the reunion or sumetin, then hit you and leave. Now leave the shinra mansion, and Vincent will stop you on your way out and join your team. Now you need to head for Mt. Nibel. It will take you out of the mountains and to the other side of nibelhiem where you can head to rocket town and pick up Cid.

Wander the forest, find her again. BUT, pay close attetion!

Do NOT, I repeat, do NOT take your eyes off her. Do not try to use that save point, do not press triangle, do not make any other screen pop up that may let her "vanish". Instead, talk to her. If she asks you to do anything that MIGHT let her run away, tell her no. And then keep talking to her. Eventually, if you do NOT let her run away, she will join your party. But like I said, do NOT take your eyes off her in any way, she'll bolt.

There is a certain conversation you have to have with her. Once you beat her in a battle talk to her. Yuffie: "you spkiky headed jerk. let's go again" you respond: "i'm not interested" yuffie: "you're scared of me huh" you respond: "petrified" yuffie: "im going to leave." you respond: "wait up" yuffie: "you want me to join your party?" you respond: "yes" yuffie: "ok ill come" you: "lets hurry"

It's pretty much like that. There may be a few places where my statements arent exact, but you'll get the picture.
