I have been a carpenter for almost 15 years on and off. I have about 4 years in the commercial field. I have contacted my local union hall to see about become a union carpenter. They said they will send me out for a 2 day test to rate my abilities for journeyman rate. Anyone know what I should prepare for.. how to study..etc.. thanks

Apology for the late answer, server problems. By now you probably know the answer. They expect you to perform at journeyman level. By that I mean know the work and be as productive as a skilled carpenter. Thats awful tough without formal training but an amazing few manage to learn on the job. Best Wishes, Rocky
