Negligible Progress

Well, one more milestone on my FF10 belt. I beat Catastrophe about an hour ago. Used Anima to crack the shell, and then it took about 35 minutes of Auto-Life, Holy, and Hastega casting, Masamune swinging, and the sort to kill it. I'm just getting a little confused as to what the point is to the monster arena other than bragging rights. I killed Catastrophe (half hour of fighting) for one of Yuna's weapons? I mean, I already have Nirvana. The 50,000 AP was OK, but not totally necessary. I had similar results when I killed Stratoaevis and Chimerageist. Whoa! Wait a second! I was looking for strategy for monster arena help, and stumbled on this site:

Here I thought I had a weak party! This site said that while this is one of the easier creations, that it has over 2,000,000 HP! Damn, and I only have Godhand, Masamune, and Nirvana! No Blitz Ace, no Tornado, no Wakka breaks, nothing! I tackled the strongest enemy I've ever killed doing just over 9999 damage for a half hour or so! Even still, I would like the Spirit Lance, Caldabolg, Onion Knight, and World Champion. 'Twould be nice to cycle people in and out for a while.

Thats a long fight. The last time I was in a long battle was on Chrono Trigger and I was fighting the last boss. It took me about 30 min. But I won hehhehheh

Zeromus took a hella long time to beat...but Smithy (SMB rpg) took the most time. I never died, though, becuse i equipped the Princess with a Lazy shell so he only did 1 damage to her per turn, and foungt with mario and geno, who did 200-600 damage each(depending on smithy's form)and then died in 1 hit, and i just had Princess revive them with pick-me-ups or magic...a very defensive battle, lasted about 25-30 minutes..

Don't get discouraged fighting those things, Jobob. Hell, why do you think I tell people not to ask me too much about FF10? I never beat Nemesis.

Hey AO. I was wondering if you have played an RPG and then got bored because your guy was weak and you did not feel like raising his level because it was boring but after weeks or months you go back to the game and start raising levels? I do that all the time. I was wondering if anyone was like me and did that too. Well, gotta get back to Eternal Darkness SR for GC. It is one addicting game. My second M game I have played. The first was Turok. I am only fourteen and my parents have this thing on ratings but recently they have let me watch and play stuff that is Mature or R. Guess they figure I am responseable. Oh wait I also played Marathon 1,2 and Marathon Infinity for the Macintosh. But my Dad took it away. Damn that was a good game. It was like Quake and Doom. But I accedintaly shot a good guy with a flamethrower. He screamed bad and that made Dad mad. Hey that ryhmes! Enough Crap Trowa. OK. End message.

I have started RPG's all over again, TB, but usually not out of boredom. It's usually because I make a morbid mistake, or I just missed a lot of stuff. The last time that happened was the first time I played FF9. You guys know the part where Kuja sends you to Oelivert? Well, you can't use magic there, but I didn't pay attention when he told me that. So I sent Vivi and Dagger to Oelivert, and left my hard hitters to deal with the Desert Palace. Let's just say that...yeah, I hadn't quite grasped the importance of saving a lot, so I started again. 3 years later, the Messiah reigns from above. That's the gist!
