A fella named Tim Schmidt, from LMI, arrived to do a software installation at Maggie's and Dan Porter's machine. The installation was basically the creation of an icon with launched the browser to http://aausnihighview.hq.navy.mil/ecmt/manager.jsp. The server never responded. The IP address of the machine is 164.224.191.33. The server does respond to pings.

Answers

There were 2 problems. First, we (DONCIO) had stale DNS information. Rick fixed this. The other problem was the web page was trying to load a Java applet. This was failing. I logged in as administrator and the Oracle Jinitiator application installed just fine. Once this was installed, the Java applet worked fine.
