Mazel tov, Jerry, on your election and best wishes as you try to effect change in the RAYAC.

An unexpected result of the election was that my co-worker in our Allen Christian Endeavor, Tracy Cross, was elected to the office of Chaplain and others from the Terrific Third were elected as Vice President (Derek Anderson) and Secretary (Karen _______ - don't know her last name). Derek can be a very valuable asset as he has had connectional level experience as YPD President. Tracy has served as Conference Branch YPD President.

Take Care...and God's blessings on all of you!

Congrats Big Brother. You deserve it Jerry. You will do a great job. I will be praying with you every step of the way. Be encouraged, work your plan and plan your work. It is in your hands now, so we must share the load and carry this organization to another level.

Sinclair

Congratulations, Jerry. You were an excellent YPD Connectional officer, and I have no doubt that the same attitude and committment will be clearly seen in your new Connectional office. May God bless you richly as you project His kingdom on earth. It is my prayer that you can provide that outlet for young adult AME's to become more active on the Connectional level of our church. Best wishes!

Congradulations Brother Turner It was a pleasure hearing your "acceptance speech" at the Congress. You are indeed touched by God to do a great work. You are an excellent example of the young folks in our Zion. As has been stated in other posts, the Christian Ed Congress was Mahvalous as described by Bishop Tolbert. The highlight for me was hearing the Word delivered by Spirit-filled, bright young Brothers and Sisters that preached during the week. I urge everybody to obtain tapes of the services. They are well worth the price. I apologize for not giving you the names but I am sure someone will be able to do it. I do recall that a younf Brother from Florida preached and a young Sister from Rev Whateley's church in Jersey also preached. Outstanding! Of course, Brother Turner, you are off to a great start in your service on the Connectional level. To God Be the Glory Bro. Bob McCain
