Rights of passage or our rooster

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Country Style Homesteading : One Thread

has become a football. Every culture has some sort of right of passage, even true in the poultry world. Our rooster, Mr. Jewels, has successfully grown up, he started spurring just yesterday. And he did the gonna get her through the fence thing, which I just absolutely love. Spurring means instant football, he didn't go far, but next time, I'm sure he score a touchdown.

Anyone have a football, er I mean a rooster that's come of age.

Heh heh. I hate that. We have old English bantie roosters and a Fluer de..whatever, lol, these little guys definately have Napolean complexes! I wouldn't keep them around if they were really though.

The big boys are really sweet though.
