Leeds managerial short-list?

It has emerged today that Telly Vegetables is a leading candidate for O'Dreary's job at Leeds. This was admitted by Peter Ridsdale, who's own position is apparently also under threat if this season is not an improvement on last.

The early favourite, Martin O'Neil, is being pursued by Celtic to sign an extension to his contract that ends next summer - no doubt for a whopping salary increase!

Other contenders appear to be Gus Hiddinck, John Gregory, Steve McClaren, Graham Souness, and possibly Mick McCarthy although he has allegedly just signed a 2 yr contract with the IFA.

Bloody hell, I hope not. He might actually improve them. I'm a Venables fan, at least football-wise.

Fingers crossed for John Gregory...

Have to agree Steve - the Prince of Dankness would be perfect!

Vegetables will take over from Sven when he goes to ManUre when they realise they can't get Martin O'Neil. As for Leeds, I believe they're gonna dig up Don Revie. After all, he can hardly be as bad as O'Dreary and twice as bliddy funny.
