Hi Stan! I check here at least twice a day but ther has been nothing. Makes me wonder. We were so active there for awhile. Did Lucnet go down a few days ago too?

No Susan,

All of you that were so objectional to the Homesteading Today site in the beginning are doing all your postings there now. Apparently everyone has gotten used to and are more comfortable with that site. Flashy sites are so habit forming :>)I still do maintenance on both sites and I visit Stans board here, since this board has gone inactive. Of course, I post wherever our people ask question.

And yes, this board will remain for topics too hot for homesteading today or anyones need to use shithouse languange (can't say that on Homesteading Today :>)

BTW since the posting frequency here is almost non existant, be sure to keep your shortcut as it will be off the active listing soon.

Catch y'all at whichever forum you post on.

Hi Susan,

I think it's BUSY season on the homesteads. I am so busy taking care of SIX grandkids visiting for most of the summer, I don't have time for socials. By the time breakfast is over, and the chickens fed, it is time for lunch. When lunch is over and the baby chicks and incubators have been tended it is time for supper!! Boy, do I have work piling up. I haven't washed this many loads of clothes in my life! We are having fun, though.

I still do NOT like the HT "busy-ness". All those smiley faces, and the proverbs. Yikes. LOL. I still can't figure out why they just didn't go on over to Backwoods Home which is identical?
