I'm looking for solid freeware that can allow me to add jpgs to a VCD that will have mpegs on it as well. I want to be able to flip track by track and either see each jpeg (having it remain on the screen till I choose to flip past it) or view the mpeg.

Thanks for the help in advance!

you can use the nero 5.5 free download version. it will let you put an mpeg clip then a jpeg picture and so on... no menu option is avail. are these family pictures??? i hope so... jk.

I tried the NERO 5.5 and I strongly do not recommend that product. It is soooooo buggy!! How buggy? The program somehow found a way to disable my entire CD ROM, burner and all. Moreover, is run soooooo sloooooow. The "Wizards" are warped (e.g. kicks out your blank CD and asks you to put a blank one in, then you have a choice of either "cancel" or clicking on the "X" both of which will abort the process. If you leave it alone, nothing happens.

What ever you do, stay away from this horrible product!

VCDEasy is yor answer.

VCDEasy will only work with mpegs, I'm having the same trouble my self. I think we need to convert the jpeg to a mpeg still in order to use VCDEasy. I may be wrong but I can't get the program to acknowledge jpg format images. Please let me know if you find out anything or come across a converter.

Thanks !

Jesse

In VCDEasy if you choose the tools item (on the left hand menu) you'll find a menu item called MPEG Stills which will allow you to convert JPEGs to MPEGs
