Child Abuse::: Refers to an act commited by a parent,caregiver or person in a postion of trust (even though he/she may not care for the child on a daily basis) which is not acidental and which harms or threatens to harm a childs physical or mental health or a childs welfare.

Four Basic Types of Child abuse: PHYSICAL ABUSE:::-non-accidental harm of a child,including:ecessive corporal punsihment. Assualt...Shaking......Slapping..Burning or scalding...Licking...Strangling.

NEGLECT::: maltreatment or negligence that harms a childs health, welfare or safety, phyisical, emotional, or educational neglect through such actions as::: Abondonment---refusal to seek tretment for illness..inadequate supervision...health hazards in the home. ignoring childs need for contact,affirmation and stimulation...providing inadequate emtional nurturance...knowinginly permitting chronic truancy...keeping a child home from school repeatedly wihout cause (depriving a child of education).

i think that child abuse is very bad and that it should be illegal and whoever does do it, they should be sent to jail immediately. this is a serious case and should be taken care of as soon as possible...thank you for your cooperation, sincerely...anonymous
