Is anyone using eddy current techniques to test spot welds? I'm especially interested in inspecting spot welds for electronic assemblies - resistors, connectors, etc?

Problem is size of the componets I've looked into this also & contacted to Eddy TE mfg's & they say the tech is just not there yet. But if you come up with an workable solution I would be interested to know of it.
