So, being bored last night, I decided to fight Kefka. I like to use the people that nobody seems to like as much to fight against him. Makes for interesting play time. I chose Mog, Gau, Setzer, and Cyan. Okay, so I'm up at the third level, and the guy's final attack kills Setzer and Mog. Keep in mind now that I only equipped these four. So when Umaro and Terra took their place, they had no weapons, armor, Espers, or relics. I won anyway. I chose "Tyrano" as Gau's rage, so he does "Meteo" every round. Umaro attacks. Kefka does "Fallen One", and Terra uses a Megalixir. Cyan attacks. Kefka does "Flare Star" and kills Terra and Cyan. Gau and Umaro, beserked, wipe Kefka out. Um...couldn't he have been a LITTLE tougher? I mean, if you count, he absorbs somewhere in the neighborhood of 20 Magicite shards. The final fight isn't difficult, per se, but it is a little annoying. I just thought that the best villian in the whole series should have been harder to kill. Zeromus and Ultimecia/Griever sure were. Um...but I'm not bitter!

A tougher final boss would be one of the only improvements on one the best games in the series...I guess the progammers figured that by the time you faced kefka, you'd be worn out that...whole...tower- thingy that precedes him...

Eh...the tower half of the battle wasn't even that difficult. I lost ONE character, at Kefka himself, and promply defeated him the round afterward. It was a sad final battle...
