Could be quite a while - remember how many they have to process, especially in this day and age! ;-)But even in the past, it could take a long time. There are a couple of terrific books written in the 1950's called "Karen" and "With Love from Karen", by Marie Killilea, about a little girl who had cerebral palsy and her big wonderful Irish Catholic family. In the 2nd book, the older sister, Gloria, wants to marry a boy named Russ who has to get an annulment from his first marriage. They had to wait over a year.
So you may have a few more months to wait! But good luck - remember, it's a good opportunity to practice patience! ;-)
Love, Christine :-)
