Per phoncon on 17 Jun 02 the following is provided. SN:031/14/087497 PIN:165336496 is the CNO's current BlackBerry. It is receiving error messages about network access being denied. Mr. Porter and Carl Bolter agreed to give him another unit. We will troubleshoot the old device once in our hands.

Answers

Got the CNO's old machine and gave Ed Bren the new BB. From the old hardware, I tried to send a message from CNO to myself. The message status shows Handheld received DIE packet.
