When a subject poses for me, is it understood that the photographer owns the photos and can use them to promote his work or is it better to have them sign a release form. Is there a resource for such forms or do I have to find a lawyer?

Greetings from Oregon! I have a generic Model Release form that I will send you gratis, if you like. ALWAYS use a Model Release, even if you are in doubt. It is much bettter to have one and NOT need it.....
