I presume you are looking for anecdotal material? Decades after Poe's death and a blanket of scandalous condemnation, his firends launched a sort of rehabilatating memorial by gathering all their memories of Poe. needless to say, time, bias and point of view have to be taken into account. Poe was not very autobiographical or completely trustworthy himself. Good biographies will detail these stories from sources critically. Check www.eapoe.org for a beginning bibliography. Mabbott seems pretty thorough.
