FS. Leica M7 body

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Leica Photography : One Thread

Leica M7 body(black) for sale. 3 weeks old 4 rolls of film. Boxed as new.

I made a mistake when I got this camera , it's not as accurate as I thought, so I will be sticking to my M6/M4p combo'.

I am letting this go for £1200 because I want rid ASAP. That is a saving of over £650 on the new price.I am in Newcastle (England),but will send anywhere in the world for free. For safety I would like to use one of the online payment methods.

Thanks. D

Just noticed our surnames - Hart to Heart - yuk!

In what way is the M7 "not as accurate" as you expected, and how did you determine this?

-- Jay (infinitydt@aol.com), June 08, 2002.

The M7 is gone, thanks for all the replies.

Man-o-man, that was quick. Debbie doesn't mess around when she makes up her mind now does she? Hmmmm, like Jay, I wonder what she meant by not accurate enough???

I just wasn't happy with the Auto metering. It was just an impulse buy to be honest, all that hype.

It was actually Phil Kneen who bought it (I have to say I was a bit weary when he mailed me! ;0) ) But it all went through within about half an hour with 'paypal'.

Hope you enjoy the camera Phil.

Sorry - and surprised - to hear you had problems with the metering on your ex-M7, Debbie. Mine has given me but the utmost satisfaction so far. Anyway, would you consider selling your M4-P, by any chance? You know, on an impulse? Just asking. Take care.

The M6 and M4p stay with me until the day I die!

sorry.

he's back!! can't you guys tell when you're being yanked . . . uh manxed.

-- roger michel (michel@tcn.org), June 08, 2002.

Just because I got the deal of the year you say you've been had?

Wank-shaft.

Debbie, I understand. I'd do the same. But... never say never. Now I have to tell you off for mentioning the PK word (and for dealing with him/her/them/whatever, for crying out loud. I know, business is business..) For a few weeks now we had been living our lives happily without "this". And, now, there you are, it's back, and nicer than ever. ;-)

-- Olivier (olreiche@videotron.ca), June 08, 2002.

I'm with Roger -- Maybe we're just cynical, but this whole deal seems a bit too contrived. A great deal on a used M7 that gets quickly snarfed up by none other than PK himself, and the seller is somebody I do not ever recall having seen post here before...

Also un-yanked,

plus "debbie's" email is nonexistant (as is her domain).

Actually, her domain has been registered.

You are right: Debbies e-mail address is a phoney. I am in the UK and just checked this out with ISP
