The Discussion of the Math+1 Storytime thread

greenspun.com : LUSENET : MATH Plus One : One Thread

I was thinking this might be a good place to talk about the storytime thread without actually interrupting the story (assuming a new one will be started...?)

Talk it up here. Did you like how it turned out?

I thought that was fabulous! 3 cheers for Hannah the Great for starting it up!

And because this post needs just one more exclamation point, I like Fonzie!

I thought it was hilarious. God bless Old School Television!

I regretted not working The Ricker in there. His on-again, off-again (thanks to that darn J.T.!) relationship with Marla P. Cranbottom needs to be explored in the forum, and where better than in a story involving so many of his peers.

How did we go from sitting at the diner to running out for donuts? O well i guess we can pretend they didnt have any at the diner, AND they are o.k. with people bringing in food

Well, I was going with Bobby being agitated with Billi, and he said the first thing that popped into his head under duress.

I thought that we got lost in a flashback somewhere.

I know you want to write the next installment, pineapple.

Oooh, no no no. I'm happy to be a spectator and leave it to you former Hissyfitters or Squishites or wherever the tradition began.

Actually, sources say PG's already writing on the story thread under a pseudonymn. But I can't say any more than that, or the black helicopters will come get me.

Mike - did you know that the guy who published the book about the black helicopters died of food poisoning (tainted ground beef at El Azteca on Ponce) just this year? Coincidence? He was Atlanta's first food poisoning fatality in YEARS. Forget the black helicopters - it's the beef burrito that will ultimately do you in.

Why does MIke know all these supposed secrets of ours all of a sudden?

Has he been hiring private detectives or something?

Or speaking to a resident gossip?

We have a resident gossip?

Look at Omar, acting like he's not a member of the secret cabal of journalists that runs the world.

-- Anonymous, June 11, 2002

The Cabal has decided that Omar has said too much and that Mike is a poofta.

Carry on.

"And after all ... it's a fine cabal."

What happened to our story? Did I kill it with the sad drama of a dead daughter?
