I sure enjoyed the pictures.

A friend at work gave me some thornless rose cuttings. She said they are sometimes yellow, sometimes pink, sometimes a mix of both, on the same stalk.

I have them rooting in water right now and they are growing just great. I plan to put them out front soon.

SAR,

The pictures are stunning. I could almost smell them. Dang I wish that I had your yard. Someday, I keep telling myself.

Wow! Those are wonderful pix, SAR. You ought to put together your own spring flower calendar. I've seen software that'll do that.

Very lovely indeed, SAR.

SAR, thanks for sharing those!

I especially like the "mystery" flowers. That's a common species in my garden! (Oh sure, there were little markers once, but the snails musta carried them off.)

SAR, you have SUCH a talent for growing AND photographing flowers. I'd look at catalogue photos, see if your photo of that plant is better and, if so, send it to the catalogue, see if they want to buy it.

Plant markers--the squirrels and/or chipmunks throw 'em all over the place. And there's a raccoon who takes the top of one of my garden lights so he can get at the insects inside. I put it back, next day it's neatly placed beside it again. And they have to be sucking up the water from my bubble fountain--I have to fill that thing up at least once every two weeks and there's no leak in it!
