I can't record my VHS tapes, because in my ATI TV Player button is grey and when I put my cursor on the button it said :

Source is copy protected.

Have tried 3 kind of macrovision remover, but all didn't work. Removed ativmdxx.sys and ATITVO32.DLL but still didn't work.

Is there any way to solve this macrovision protection ?

Anykind of advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

i have an ati card too & yes i had the same problem as you what i done is i baught a video stabilizer the stabilizer is video in & video out you go out of your vcr or dvd & into your computer. its so dam easy you will laugh at all the headaches it caused you

you can bye the stabilizer at ebay.....or a electronic store i baught mine off of ebay..cause i live in a small town in canada
