Film Processing in Denmark ???

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Leica Photography : One Thread

I will be in Denmark for a couple of weeks in June. We are taking our 13 year old grandaughter to meet my wife’s family and have a tour of the country. Since we have been there many times, we know where to go. However, I would appreciate any suggestions about good minilabs in Copenhagen and in Roskilde. This is for color neg and chromogenic B&W. Also are there any good labs for processing and contact sheets for regular B&W. TIA, Jay

In my opinion the best lab is "Color Gruppen" in Copenhagen (adress:Esplanaden 8, in the back building, 1022 Copenhagen K., www.colorgruppen.dk). It´s a pro lab that processes all photographic materials. The prices are a bit high, but if you process over 10 rolls of film at a time the price will be compatible with ordinary stores. The turn around time is around 1 day (non xpress). If you are not in a hurry it would be more cost efficient to use "Photographica"´s pro developing service (adress: Skindergade, Copenhagen K., www.photografica.dk). They get their film developed at "Colorgruppen", but because of the amount of film they send, they get considerable discounts.
