Glad to see you here! something about that other forum I just don't care for. Well, not really the forum, just the whole thing. guess I'm just getting too old for so many new fangled things.

I liked the other forum just fine until it encountered problems with logging in, etc. The format was very nice but I understand the whole system there went down and it may be permanent (according to an email I got from Chuck today). At least it was a'welp-free' site and I really liked the emoticons, too. ;o)

the new site is not down permanently. I won't give up on y'all that easy! Just a slight glitch. It'll be back online shortly.

the hosting company I chose may be gone permanently, but that doesn't mean homesteadingtoday.com will be. Hang in there!

Is it just me??? I dont know where all these forums are!! I happened to stumble into this one..I am soooooooooo confused.... Things are changing to fast for me I guess.

Thank God I found you!! I recently found the "new" Homesteading TOday" site and had been viewing/contributing almost daily and the suddenly---it was gone. I was in a huge panic!! I couldn't live without it and had no idea where the 'old' site was. SO, I just started hunting and (thank you Google)I found you. What a relief...
