For current Leica products there's no place like the Leica Camera website. There you can find lots of PDF files of the current products. For past products I don't know if there is a (are) website(s). If you can't find it online you can always ask here. There's a lot of knowledge here!
Tip: I don't know if Leica still issues the 'Handbook of the Leica System', I own two of those. An old one from october 1984 and a newer one from march 1992. These handbooks are catalogs ( illustrated in B&W ) of allthe then current Leica products containing comprehensive specs.

Stuart,Outside of the current lenses and bodies, what are you looking for?
The stable of "ALL" Leica products is a pretty huge list as it dates from the 1920's. Just witness the size of the three Lager books at ~$100 each as evidence.
IMO, a good budget source of basic info on lenses and bodies is probably the two collectors books by Ghester Sartorius, $17.50 each. He lists each non-ultra-rare Leica body and lens since the 1920's and basic descriptions of each.

for R, see http://www.willdightphoto.com/leica
It's not comprehensive (yet) but I'm working on it.

I have the latest issue of "Handbuch des Leica Systems" 2000/2001. It costs around $20.00USD and very thick and full of information about lens specifications, camera bodies, in fact, the whole product line. My version is in German, but I think that I saw one in English when I was in Solms last November. If it helps, here is the order number from inside my book (Bestell-Nr. 920 603)The book is 12 chapters and is really more of a detailed catalog than a "book". It is much more comprehensive than the "Leica. The Program" catalog.
I hope this helps.
