Man, that is too perfect. That video showed up at the local library, (our only video store..can't beat the prices) and we watched it for the first time maybe a month ago. Jeremy, who's still seven, loves it!! He was terribly impressed with the opening song. He is wierd, just like his old dad.

Haven't tried the Leningrad cowboys, but I watched a kids video the other night that I so badly wished I had the company of Gilly beside me for. Have you guys discovered Veggie Tales? I guess there's a whole series of them, I only saw one, something like Tales of friendship, or neighbors or something like that. Very Light God talk contained within but not troubling even to a hardline Pagan like myself. The humor is excellent, the message equally so. I hope your library has it Gilly. Let me know. ...have WE got a SHOW for YOU!.....Veggie tales, veggie tales, veggie tales, veggie tales, broccoli, celery, gotta be--Veggie Tales.

Um, is that a dead giveaway? Some of the episodes are more bible heavy than others, but the guys need to have some exposure to it, since it is such an ingrained part of our society and as a registered "heathen backslider" with the Southern Baptists I refrain from dragging my children out of the house on Sunday mornings.

The show is great. Properly twisted humor and yet wholesome. After you see a bunch of them you should try their website-- Bigidea.com-- it's got some cute games.

Craig, you must find and watch the Leningrad Cowboys NOW!! Humor so dry it's musty. Ridiculous hair-dos and really effective cinematography of the grimy side of our dear nation. You must, you MUST!!!
