An early, very artful and sincere expression of the poet. The sections of the poem move from a point of time, an experience that begins with a fundamental awareness and goes on to revelation. From, since. The first part ends with the moving pathos/uniqueness of "alone". The last goes from a visionary experience, perhaps a dream, that is his alone. "of a demon in my view"- not necessarily and evil demon, but a spirit or haunting power from beyond, immanent(present) in his vision.

He is just beginning to feel the oppression besides the wonder of his personal awareness but already he feels himself set on his solitary path as Frost would say "the road less traveled".

Just for starters.
