greenspun.com : LUSENET : Leica Photography : One Thread

The camera and both lenses were purchased new two months ago (long story). The camera is a black 0.72 TTL, USA version with 3 year warranty. Both lenses are black without USA warranty (but with the warranty from Delta International). All are like new with all papers and original packaging. Maybe 3 rolls of film through the kit.

Also have the SF-20 purchased at the same time; like new with box and papers.

M6 TTL 0.72 black camera - asking $1485.00

35 f/2 asph black lens - asking $1000.00

50 f/2 black lens - asking $675.00

SF-20 flash - asking $195.00

On request I can send you some pictures taken with a cheap digital camera.

7-day MBG. Paypal preferred.

A brand new, USA version M6TTL with 3 year passport warranty can be purchased for $1550 on Leica Day and with the $200 Leica rebate. There are many many Leica Days this season, as well as the next. If you plan on selling your M6 for that high of a price, you might as well try Ebay and hope an ill-informed person will buy it.

The same goes for your lenses. A brand new 35 cron is $1106 and a brand new 50 cron is $730 at Delta International, ableit gray versions. And seeing that you purchased your lenses at DI, it's ridiculous you're selling it for your asking prices. A brand new USA version SF-20 is $219.95 at B&H.

Also, I was under the impression that USA passport warranties are NOT transferable.

This posting is to inform the ill-informed consumers and to allow Tim to realize that his prices are way too high.

BTW, a new SF-20 is $181 at Delta International.

Average price for an M6TTL is around $1200.00. Check the prices on this forum to validate this. Your asking price is way too high.
