Hi, need some help, got a Leica R3 but the cam has one little failure. at the shutter speed dial you also has the option to choose between spot and the normal metering mode. When you know look into the viewfinder you can see the small dot or the rectangle! But my R3 only shows the dot even when I change the metering method! Is that repairable? Can I only shoot on spot modus?

Anything can be repaired given sufficient funds... whether it's economically repairable is another question. With the price of used R3 bodies as low as they are, it may cost less to replace it that repair. However, if it works accurately in spot meter mode you may just want to use it as-is. My SL body is spot-meter only and I get accurate exposures. If you can, use your R3 that way.
