Unreal

Yesterday there were black storm clouds swirling over South Florida. While driving to supper I looked up at them and thought "They don't look real; they look more like special effects." Then I realized what they lacked to make them appear real to me -- NO GRAIN! Boy, talk about being brainwashed!

Where was your camera Willhelmn? I'd love to see the sky of my childhood- here in SF there are headlines when there's one lightning bolt during a storm.

Brainwashed? Are you sure it was archival?

Maybe more like a Senior Moment. I wonder if today's kids might feel the same way about reality if they can't see any pixels.

Hello Willhelmn. We all read you. The answer in theory, but a bit difficult everyday in practice...always carry that Leica with you loaded with Tri-X.You can rate the film at 800 to cover most situations, push process and photograph those clouds to look acceptably grainy. Regards.
