Hi, it seems to happen to my M3/4/CLE/nikon S3. These rangerfinder's viewfinder doesn't match (missed slighty) when the lenses (35/50/40mm)are set to infinity. Will the pictures be sharp? Can this be repaired? Or was it the subject i chosen? I was focusing at the opposite building about 300metres away.

300m is too near for an infinity test- try a building on a horizon or better still a bright star or the Moon (at night obviously).

You can always take a shot and look at the film to see whether the result is sharp or not.

i have noticed this with both my TTL's that when i focus on a long long way away like 3 or 4 kilometres, like on a far away mountain range that both my TTL's are just short of double-image alignment in the viewfinder. at short distances i think they are both accurate. is it that both my TTL's are out? or just the nature of long distance short-comings on a rangefinder infinity setting???

The rangefinder may appear out of alignment if your eye is not centralized. I think this becomes more noticeable the lower the magnification of the viewfinder.
