I just wanted your feelings on this wonderful gift. I have heard that it is an awesome tool of the Holy Spirit, and it can be a very powerful tool in healing and prayer. I know a lot of people abuse it or fake it. But that is the case for a lot of things (i.e. many people say they are Catholic, but are less Catholic than non-Catholics). Fr. Hampsh talks a lot about this. Have you ever heared him speak? He was plagued with stuttering, but was cured by the Power of God.

It is a powerful tool against the enemy! Especially when you don't know what to pray. And you're right, it does get abused quite a bit, and held up by some as some sort of 'spiritual mark' of maturity. But nonetheless when it is used for its legitimate purpose, i.e., the Glory of God -- it's awesome!
