Canon Sure Shot 105

Cano sure shot 105 zoom camera has blinking H indicator. One shop tells me that it is humidity another says it is a shutter problem. I have tried removing the battery and letting the camera air out, but the problem does not go away. The shop wants $60-$100 to repair. Probably not worth it. Can someone set me straight on this problem?

Canon compacts usually show H for "Help!" - i.e. something has gone wrong inside. If removing the battery doesn't fix it (or drying it out if you do live somewhere really humid, I suppose) then it's probably a repair job, you'll have to decide for yourself if it's worth the expense.
