greenspun.com : LUSENET : Unofficial Newcastle United Football Club BBS : One Thread

1. Even with it all down we was getting nowhere
2. People going down to the ground Buildings going up to the sky
3. With eleven sad stories to tell
4. only part that wasn't bloody was the soles of the big man's feet
5. A half naked woman with her tongue down my throat
6. Hermitized one you're my little summer maid
7. I'll cover myself with the mud and the earth
8. My analyst told me that I was right out of my head
9. And like a giant oak tree he just stood there alone
10. I knew the words of every song

Well do you?

Bloody hell, that was a bit suspicious. Do Jonno and Nick actually share a record collection?

Wouldn't have got a single one of those, by the way.

I`ve been to pub quizzes with Nick, there`s no way in a million years he got all of those without looking them up on the internet! And the only one of those records he owns is the Bernard Cribbins one.....

Artists awaited for 5,8 and 9. #6 is somewhat incorrect in a subtle but important way as far as afficionados of Marc Bolan are concerned! Conesuela was made by the wonderful Tyrannosaurus Rex and Bolan lost devotees like myself who turned their backs in disgust when he got new musicians and became hugely successful as T.Rex. #8 may have a number of cover versions but the original is sought here.
