I bought this on the LUG a few months ago, then ended up trading my Hexar RF for an M6. Now I've got 3 M cameras and I on'y need one.

I paid $520 for it; would like to get that back out of it. This is a user -- it works great but doesn't look pretty.

Followup: hadn't thought about adding more details.

I wasn't kidding when I said it wasn't pretty -- there's a dent on one side, there's a driver's license number engraved on the back, there are holes in the front vulcanite (I think it's vulcanite) where the screws have been removed, etc.

But the finder is clear and bright and focus appears dead-on (with my 90 Elmarit). It was CLA'd in 1997 and from what I can tell everything's still dead-on, including the self-timer. Images are hosted on my home machine behind a residential DSL connection. The images are large-ish (it's a Leica -- some people freak if they're not made aware of everything up front), so don't be shocked when you hit the upload limit.
