Happy Mother's day to all the mothers here!

Wanna give us the low down on how you celebrated it this year?

My daughters let me have the internet! :-) I sent an e card to my mom and MIL. Then (of course) I came here to play...

Happy Mother's Day!

My brother and his family picked up Mom from the assisted living center where she lives (she's 91), and met us at a restaurant about half-way from there to here. There were 10 of us altogether, and it was a family style place where we all had fried chicken, dumplings, blackeyed peas, mashed potatoes, turnip greens, and peach cobbler. Kit was the only one who tried the sassafras tea, but he made a face every time he took a drink.

The boys got the missus perfume this year. Some Paloma Picasso, Bulgari, Coco Mademoiselle and Lalique. Now she has no excuse to be stinky all summer.

Actually, I think this whole "mother's day" thing is overdone. It's not really a major holliday afterall, not like, say, for instance, FATHER'S day!

:-)

Well, since I ain't got no real mudda, and since Helen keeps sending back the adoption papers I send her, I usually just pick up Igor and we go into town for a while till we end up in jail. We usually start out by getting my bolts tightened over at a joint called Sweet Sallie's Slough, then Igor gets the hair trimmed on his hump, and we set out to rekindle some old flames down in the nicer places behind the shrimpboat docks.

Anyhow, for those of youse who is muddas, come on down an' have one on me and Igor. Just look for the place with the paddy wagon out front.

LOL, Lon(s)!

I did send my mom a card, but I want to call her. Problem is, when I'm going to bed, she's going to work, and when I remember to call her (around supper time, usually), she's in the middle of her sleep. I think I need a ribbon to tie on my thumb!

Happy Mother's Day! :-)

It was the first Mother's Day I spent away from my kids. Strange feeling! We went to Branson and Silver Dollar City.

Nice to see Rob checking in! And Tricia, Eric is much better. Thank you for your prayers. ((((((Tricia))))))
