The boys meet ended today, although not quite as we expected. Robert Owens won the 400 meter dash, adding 10 points to the 16 Wil Cramer and earned the past two days. The 4x400 team was disqualified after finishing second in the race. The officials claimed that the anchor leg had stepped back out of the exchange zone before moving forward to receive the baton. The loss of those points moved us down in the standing by several places. We did not stay for final computation of results, but we were probably 6th or 7th overall. It was a long weekend, filled with some great races, disappointments for several schools, sunshine and thunderstorms. Full results will be in the paper and on the web.
