Sort of techy question - hotmail

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Unofficial Newcastle United Football Club BBS : One Thread

My son has a hotmail account which is always full due to all the junk mail he gets. Even with the filter on the stuff still gets through. Is there any way to transfer the messages he wants to keep to his computer short of cutting and pasting each one?

Steph, all he must do is click on "Printer Friendly Version" and then save the email / file as anything he likes, e.g. in "My Documents".

I assume that will solve your problem?

Can't help you directly but get him a yahoo.co.uk free address. Very little spam. In fact none so far in 2 years, except where I've stupidly given my address to a company. Even then, it's easy to block.
