Look North on Real Player

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Unofficial Newcastle United Football Club BBS : One Thread

Good news for all exiles : we can now web-watch Look North full half hour programmes Mon- Fri on the BBC website. They also have Late Look North and Lunchtime Look North, if you're desperate. Go to the bottom of web page
http://www.bbc.co.uk/england/looknorthnecumbria/index.shtml
Today they have the Regional Assembly on - as mentioned on the other thread. (By the way I'm in favour as long as it's implemented properly.)
You probably know that we could already see Tyne Tees 5 minute bulletins at
http://www.tynetees.tv/index.html
TTTV is in Windows Media Player. But you still can't see Mike Neville!

I wrote the message with the stream playing in the background : I just saw Niall Quinn talking about his charity testimonial towards the end of the programme too. I hope it's a sell-out and wish I could have gone.

Thanks Barry - at last! Hope Tyne Tees follow suit and give us their full prog - with wor Mike - instead of the five minute daytime bulletins. And a Broadband stream would be nice!

Wonder what the score is when they come to the sport? Will the "rights" allow us to see the lads in action?

I assume everyone knows you can tune into Tyne Tees via your digital satellite system. I can't get NE ITV but can't get BBC yet. (Clearly Wearside isn't worth a mention!)
