odd spot on goat - is this a nigerian dwarf thing?

I have a kindergoat doe kid that has had two fleshy spots on her jaw since birth. They are actually in her cheek right near where the molars meet in the back. These spots stick out, with one side being more prominent than the other. I have never seen this in any goat I've dealt with before and when the vet checked her out today he claimed he'd never seen anything like it either. I am wondering if this is something common to nigerian dwarf goats, since a kindergoat is a cross between that and nubians. (I suppose it could also be a nubian thing, but I've worked with nubians more and so has my vet.) These spots are not abscesses or growths. They are actually part of her cheek. They are just places where the flesh is thicker. It looks kind of odd, but doesn't affect how she eats. Any thoughts would be appreciated as I intend to keep her as a replacement milking doe.

Hi Sheryl, It is not common in Nigerian Dwarf goats, is it possible that is it just harmless like a skin tag on humans? Barb
