This time last year the U17 team were 5-0 down to Ipswich after the the first leg of the U17 play-off final and over 10,000 turned out at SJP.
This year the lads are 3-2 up against ManU. The second game is on Monday at SJP. The old-new stand and the Gallowgate will be opened I would guess.
Calvin-Zola, Guy, McDermott and the that defender from North Shields way, Taylor is it, are getting rave reviews.
Could have a pint after work and before kick off at 7pm I suppose? Could be the first trophy since a Gazza inpired youth team won something in oohhh about errm the eighties. Last game of the season before the World Cup
